# Hello !

Hi All

I will quickly introduce myself. I am 54 and an only child. My Mum is 85 and living in a Nursing Home (Funding issues ongoing-see separate post.) and Dad is 87, frail, with sight impairment, poor memory and still lives on his own in our old family home. Luckily my Wife and I only live half a mile away. He pays a private carer for one quick visit a day (More for my peace of mind than anything) and I sort everything else out for him. I have power of attorney for both health and money for both parents.  
Life can be VERY busy and stressful as I’m sure you know!
