Hi I'm new

As it’s for mum’s living expenses, it shouldn’t be a problem.

Chris and bowlingbun
I am 54 not old enough for my pension, my husband and I relocated to the country and for me to be nearer mum about 6yrs ago as I had a few health issues at the time and the stress meant I had to give up work, but by moving we have drastically decreased our mortgage etc, so it meant I didnt have to work, we could afford live on my hubby wages which meant I had more time to visit mum and be a lady of leisure if you like ( I’m anything but lol) tgen mum moved in last may,but we hadn’t at that time taken into account of feeding someone else on a permanent basis and how much our house fuel Bill’s petrol /food etc would go up, we were just getting by…very little in savings, so the 50 helps and 100 would give us abit extra that we definitely need in the winter months as the fire is never off ! I don’t claim any benefits my only income is carers allowance and the 50pw my mum gives me. Should I be ok to up the amount and leave it going out via the bank? Thankyou both in advance for your advice. Never knew what a minefield it is. :S

Looks okay , Joanne … as outlined.

Other posters on previous threads had been less economical with the facts … only to discover problems down the line which
could have been avoided if they let us have the full sp from the off.

NOTHING in CarerLand is ever simple !

In fact , more akin to a minefield … with most mines not on any map.
