Views on better support for unpaid Carers

The house of Lords Adult Social Care Committee is considering how to improve the planning for, and delivery of, adult social care services in England and wants to hear people’s views via their call for evidence.

I’ve only just come across this but I really think it’s vitally important that carers share their views to get the struggles that we face heard. I know just how hard it is to find the time to do anything whilst caring but we need to have our voices heard.

The questions cover a few areas but there is a whole section on Better support for unpaid carers

Even if you can just answer one of the questions please share your thoughts with them. We have to be our own advocates.

The deadline is 27th May 2022.

The Committee aims to conclude with practical, near-term recommendations that will add value by effectively contributing to shaping policy.

It will be important to stick to the questions they are asking.
